I am currently doing pole dancing lessons and I am seen as an advanced pole dancer. I have been asked to teach with a sports complex as a way 2 keep fit! Do I need a certificate to say i can teach? I just didn't know if i would be allowed to do so without having certified training?
Pole dancing is more than just a passing fad — it has evolved into a mainstream form of exercise. Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks and Aerial Hammock is a form of acrobatics and has been around for hundreds of years. Aerial has evolved. XPERT Aerial is one of the first aerial instructor training courses written and instructed by professional aerialists. Their main focuses in Aerial instruction are safety and conditioning. Participants develop essential teaching skills that will enable them to become a confident and well trained instructor. The multi-level trainings will help instructors grow and improve their knowledge and skills. Many people have misconceptions about Flexibility, most feel they are not flexible enough to be able to attempt to stretch. Flexibility is key to both Pole Fitness and Aerial Skills and so come hand in hand with our teacher training courses.
Every pole instructor needs to be professionally trained and no certification is more valued than the one from Fawnia Mondey, the pioneer of pole dance instruction. Her certification program is the preferred provider of the Pole Fitness Association, the leading association serving studio professional. Pole dancing is a challenging sport where safety and proper technique should be front of mind of all instructors, regardless of the level they are teaching.
Other pole schools simply have beginners, intermediate and advanced classes. I searched the internet and found the first and only pole school near me. Someone I knew had taken lessons with my soon-to-be instructor and thought it was the best way to go.
