Dress Codes are in place to help your dancer get the most out of their dance class. Form-fitting clothing allows the teacher to see and correct alignment and posture, and also allows the dancer to self-correct using the mirror. Pulling hair out of the face and up off of the neck during classes that require it helps the dancer and teacher refine placement of the most expressive parts of our bodies. Dancers take pride in their shoes as a symbol of their achievement. We do have a limited supply of used shoes on site you can look through before your class starts. Barefoot is okay for Ballet, Tap or Contemporary.
We understand that you want to make sure your shoes last as long as possible so we've created this page to give you a few tips on how! We use top quality satins that are very hard wearing and there is normally very little fraying. You should do all you can to avoid getting your shoes wet as this can stain and damage the satin.
